Fried Chicken Kustoms was born from a love of fried chicken and a desire to set ourselves apart from other shops. We are a lifestyle brand as well as a nationally recognized custom paint shop that now offers full restoration. Our specialties are custom paint, resto-mod restorations, pinstriping, and airbrush work. Kristian has 20 years of experience in the industry, starting by sweeping shop floors and learning to pinstripe in high school to having multiple vehicles at the SEMA show in Las Vegas and winning multiple custom paint awards. Kristian has been blessed to have done work for companies like MAC Trucks, Ford Motor Company, and The Atlanta Braves while working for musical genius Zac Brown at ZBB Customs. Kristian's dream has always been to own a shop and when the opportunity presented itself in late 2021, he knew he needed to take the leap.
Fried Chicken Kustoms has a small passionate team invested in providing outstanding quality and the best possible service to our clients.
Owner, Artist, Fabricator
Kristian has two decades of experience in the automotive industry. Being the owner, Kristian has his hands in it all, but his passion is in custom car culture and the art of paint. Kristian is an extraordinarily talented airbrush artist, creating portraits that look like photographs and custom designing each paint scheme with one off design elements to make your vehicle really stand out. His degree in Welding and intense interest in aesthetics makes him an excellent fabricator. Kristian strives for excellence in all of his work and everything that comes out of the shop is sure to have his personal touch.
Body and Finish
Mac came out of retirement to join our team with over 40 years of experience. Mac has done it all from owning his own shop for decades to working with high end hot rod shops in the area. His eye for detail and precision adds so much to our team.
Owner, Operations Manager
Kitty brings years of management experience to the shop. Her past in restaurant management, relationship coaching, and operations management has provided invaluable skills to the business. Kitty's elegant and discerning eye helps bring the ideas and color palates of each vehicle alive.
Shop Helpers and Security Detail
Kristian and Kitty's 10 year old twins are homeschooled at the shop. They have been around cars since they were born and have a true love and curiosity about the industry. They are currently helping work on their first build, a 65 Cadillac Coupe Deville that their parents are restoring for a shop vehicle. The Dragons also provide perimeter checks and security detail for the shop with their nerf guns.
We're committed to providing a stress-free experience to both new and returning customers. Our shop only uses parts from reputable brands to ensure that your vehicle is always ready to drive in style.
Whether you're coming in for a full build, a custom paint job, or paint and body repair; we promise that you will be completely satisfied with our work. Our attention to detail and passion for this industry sets our work apart.
Good to know:
Working on classic cars is an art form. We guarantee each vehicle that we touch gets the care and love it deserves. Our goal is to have all of our clients happily driving their reliable and beautiful vehicles. This process is slow and it is expensive. These cars require hours of careful work so as not to further damage the vehicle. Rust, weathering, mold, and sludge all have to be carefully navigated to preserve the integrity of each vehicle. These cars require parts that are difficult to source and sometimes take weeks or months to arrive. We ask that each of our customers respect the process and have patience and flexibility while we restore your dream car.
